Dr. Michael Budincich, D.C., QME
Dr. Michael Budincich, more commonly known to his patient's as "Dr. Bud," has been a thriving Doctor of Chiropractic for twenty years. Though, it was the hand of destiny that drafted the course of Budincich's life. His initial plan was to be a dentist and he pursued that goal with the help of a track and field scholarship at USC. Looking back Budincich says, "It was a life changing experience that altered my focus." During heavy training as a shot-putter, he suffered a back injury which seriously compromised his athletic career. Budincich committed himself to an intense program of traditional physical therapy for over one month with U.S.C. trainers to no avail. He became quite anxious, a significant competition was looming and his injury was still not healing. In desperation, Budincich sought the advice of his coach who then drove him to a chiropractor. The results Budincich experienced were amazing. After just three treatments he felt well enough to compete and placed third in shot put and discus events the following weekend. A week later, Budincich who was just a freshman, beat a senior from UC Berkley in a PAC 8 Conference Duel breaking his lifetime best. The speed of his recovery and resulting athletic achievements have had a long lasting affect on Budincich's life. These extraordinary events motivated him to re- direct his focus from pursuing dentistry to becoming a chiropractor. Budincich says "If I had remained injured I would have probably lost my scholarship and subsequently never earned my degree."
In a demonstration of gratitude for his good fortune, Dr. Budincich has chosen to follow in the footsteps of the chiropractor who helped him while he was a competing athlete. Now, two decades later, Dr. Budincich provides free chiropractic exams and care to athletes at several schools and Universities including USC, Pasadena City College, Cresenta Valley High School, and Temple City High School. Budincich says, "This is the kind of profession that continues to inspire you because it works! And, it works without drugs." The ultimate recognition for Budincich is watching students who he has treated go on to become chiropractors.
Dr. Budincich's humanitarian spirit motivates him to follow other altruistic endeavors. For almost two decades he has been a member of the "Flying Samaritans," participating in free chiropractic clinics in Baja, California. Budincich and other doctors bring chiropractic care to needy men, woman and children in Mexico. Additionally, Budincich is a member of several "flying doctor" groups including "LIGA" and works with "Missions of Baja" as a missionary pilot, translator and chiropractor. Budincich has treated thousands of impoverished Mexican nationals and flown much needed medications, clothing and supplies down to the clinics of Baja.
Locally, Dr. Bud enjoys giving to the community in a variety of ways. Several times a year his clinic donates its services on designated days in exchange for food, clothing and toys for the Salvation Army, Jaycees, and Union Station Foundation. Dr. Bud served as a member of the Pasadena Rotary Club and helped as a "Happy Feet" chairman providing free shoes to the needy. And every year Dr. Bud enjoys being a "white suiter" for the Pasadena Tournament of Roses Association, helping to put on the greatest parade on earth.
Dr. Bud is married to Dr. Catherine Budincich, also a chiropractor. They have 2 young children, a son Nick, and daughter Andja Milena.
Dr Bud is a member of the American Chiropractic Association and California Chiropractic Associations. He is a founding member of the Academy of Forensic and Industrial Chiropractic Consultants (FAFICC), and has held elected offices within the local, county and state chapters of the California Chiropractic Association for many years. Additionally, Dr. Bud is a state appointed "Qualified Medical Examiner" and a past examiner for the California State Board of Chiropractic Examiners, the state's licensing body.

Dr. Glen A. Jukes, D.C.
Glen A. Jukes D.C.: Doctor Jukes is new to the Budincich Chiropractic Clinic, but not new to chiropractic. A subluxation-based doctor with a patient-oriented outlook, Dr. Jukes is enjoying getting to know all the established patients of the clinic. He is a graduate (with honors) of Cleveland Chiropractic College of Los Angeles and received his bachelors of science in Zoology with a pre-med emphasis from Brigham Young University.
Dr. Jukes was involved in clinical chiropractic research at Cleveland College of Chiropractic involving the application of chiropractic manipulative therapy to the knee in cases of meniscal tears and for patello-femoral pain syndrome (knee pain behind the knee cap). He was also involved in developing and initiating an important study involving hip osteoarthritis and chiropractic.
Doctor Jukes is recently married; at the end of August of this year he made his vows to his lovely wife Kathleen. His hobbies include drawing, hiking, gaming, football (go Eagles), and cinema (although not purely high-brow faire). He is excited about his future at Budincich Chiropractic Clinic and the future of getting people well through the power of chiropractic.
